  • Yasuhiro Yokota
    President & CEO

    Career
    • Began asset management career at Nomura Securities Investment Trust Co., Ltd. (currently Nomura Asset Management Co., Ltd.) in 1989.
    • Headed subsidiaries in Hong Kong, Singapore and Australia for nine years, before returning to Tokyo in 2014 to hold chief executive positions in Nomura’s private equity and fund research arms, subsequently serving as managing executive officer and head of international sales & marketing in Nomura Asset.
    • Joined Tokio Marine Asset Management Co., Ltd. in July 2020 as Senior Managing Director.
    • Appointed President & CEO in April 2022.
  • Takuya Igarashi
    Director and Managing Executive Officer

    Career
    • Joined Tokio Marine & Nichido Fire Insurance Co., Ltd. in 1990.
    • Held a succession of posts at different Tokio Marine Group companies, including spells at Tokio Marine Asset Management, Charles Schwab Tokio Marine Securities, and Tokio Marine Life Insurance Singapore.
    • Served as Head of Risk Management at Tokio Marine Holdings.
    • Currently serving as Director and Managing Executive Officer at Tokio Marine Asset Management Co., Ltd.

    Executive Officer, Head of International Business Division

    Career
    • Began career at Mitsubishi Trust and Banking Corporation (part of the now Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group) in 1989.
    • Held successive positions in trust banking and asset management at group companies in Japan, the UK and Luxembourg prior to joining Tokio Marine Asset Management in 2020.
    • Currently serving as Executive Officer, Head of International Business Division.

  • Kazuhiro Honjo
    Managing Executive Officer and Chief Investment Officer

    Career
    • Began career at Tokio Marine & Nichido Fire Insurance Co., Ltd.
    • Joined Tokio Marine Asset Management Co., Ltd. and held successive positions in portfolio management, including global equity investment at Tokio Marine Asset Management (USA).
    • Launched multi manager investments and hedge funds as Head of Multi Manager.
    • Served as CIO of Tokio Marine Asset Management International (Singapore) for four years from 2014.
    • Currently serving as Managing Executive Officer and Chief Investment Officer at Tokio Marine Asset Management Co., Ltd.

    Career
    • Worked at Long-Term Credit Bank of Japan and UBS Trust and Banking before joining Tokio Marine Asset Management Co., Ltd. in 2003.
    • Appointed Executive Officer in 2010, serving as Head of Institutional Business Division, and subsequently Head of International Business Division from 2015.
    • Served as CEO of Tokio Marine Asset Management (London) Ltd. for four years from 2018.
    • Currently serving as Executive Officer and Head of Administration Division at Tokio Marine Asset Management Co., Ltd.

  • Takashi Asano
    Executive Officer, Institutional Business Division, Investment Trust Business Division

    Career
    • Began career at Tokio Marine & Nichido Fire Insurance Co., Ltd. in 1991, with secondments to research analysis teams at Tokio Marine MC Asset Management Co., Ltd. (currently Tokio Marine Asset Management Co., Ltd.) and Industrial Bank of Japan, Ltd.
    • Positions held at Tokio Marine Asset Management include domestic fixed income fund manager, senior economist, and senior strategist.
    • Spent a decade at UBS Global Asset Management Co., Ltd. and Nissay Asset Management Co., Ltd. before returning to Tokio Marine Asset Management in 2018 as Head of Investment Strategy.
    • Currently serving as Executive Officer, Institutional Business Division, Investment Trust Business Division.
