    Career
    • Began asset management career at Nomura Securities Investment Trust Co., Ltd. (currently Nomura Asset Management Co., Ltd.) in 1989.
    • Headed subsidiaries in Hong Kong, Singapore and Australia for nine years, before returning to Tokyo in 2014 to hold chief executive positions in Nomura’s private equity and fund research arms, subsequently serving as managing executive officer and head of international sales & marketing in Nomura Asset.
    • Joined Tokio Marine Asset Management Co., Ltd. in July 2020 as Senior Managing Director.
    • Appointed President & CEO in April 2022.

    • Served as Head of Risk Management at Tokio Marine Holdings.

    • Served as CEO of Tokio Marine Asset Management (London) Ltd. for four years from 2018.
    • Currently serving as Executive Officer and Head of Administration Division at Tokio Marine Asset Management Co., Ltd.

    • Positions held at Tokio Marine Asset Management include domestic fixed income fund manager, senior economist, and senior strategist.
    • Spent a decade at UBS Global Asset Management Co., Ltd. and Nissay Asset Management Co., Ltd. before returning to Tokio Marine Asset Management in 2018 as Head of Investment Strategy.

    Career
    • Joined Tokio Marine & Nichido Fire Insurance Co., Ltd., overseeing an international portfolio of managed assets and subsequently managing a global portfolio of private equity funds, hedge funds, infrastructure funds, CDO/CLO's and other alternative assets.
    • Worked on project finance transactions around the world while seconded to Japan's international financing agency, and subsequently on management buyout and development capital transactions in Japan at Tokio Marine's private equity investment arm, Tokio Marine Capital Co., Ltd. (now T Capital Partners Co., Ltd.)
    • Joined Tokio Marine Asset Management Co., Ltd. in 2002.
    • Previous served as Head of Private Equity.
